Wondering what we’ve been up to lately? We’ve been busy, to say the least! Our team has been working hard to roll out Squasht’s new Spring – Summer clothing collection, inspired by the color palette of Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom. Keep checking our website, we are adding new summery pieces to the site frequently and all of it is made from start to finish right here in Chicago!
Meanwhile, for the past three and a half months, I’ve been attending a very intensive course at Harold Washington College, called the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program. I just graduated from the Program on Saturday, April 11th! I feel such a sense of accomplishment, if I do say so myself! The whole experience was extremely useful to me, as it has concretely helped me on my path to being a successful small business owner. I learned the ins-and-outs of so many aspects of running a small business, and I developed a Growth Plan which will help me take Squasht to the next level. It’s all very exciting!
Small business ownership encompasses many layers of interest, knowledge, and expertise. Executive decisions must be made frequently and planning is key. I learned so much in this hands-on program funded by Goldman Sachs and offered via a partnership with the City of Chicago. I feel so lucky to have been chosen to participate, and I will be forever grateful to my teachers and advisors, and to the City of Chicago for this fantastic opportunity.

I open every door.”
